FIGHT!

Yeah, I think most folks feel the same way, RC! And covers don't get more ICONIC than this one! For folks that experienced this book on the racks in real time, it must have been such a thrill!

Image Comic covers from this era were FIRE. I couldn't stop picking up the issues when I saw them.

@Peter Engstrom I had a couple random issues in this run and later filled them in via that mail order catalog thing that I can't remember. Couple of pages of newsprint order form? Mine are bagged and in a long box but they're all pretty rough, I poured through those things. I enjoyed the Wolvie/Wendigo arc but, unquestionably, my favorite story arc and covers were #6 & #7! To be honest, these are some of my favorite covers EVER.

Really great response and analysis, Peter. It's funny how these books from our childhood stick with us! For me, it's Spider-man 320. I was with my mother in a newsstand and this thing punched me in the face. I knew who Spider-man was but this would have been my first Spider-man comic book. I bought a decent looking copy and framed it and hung it in my office a few years ago. My original is beaten amd tattered from years of reading. One of my favorite covers to this day.

That's interesting that you want it to look different in some way from the interior pages. I've always been one that is disappointed when the cover art is RAD but the interior art isn't on par with the cover. BUT, that's not necessarily the same thing. I'm cool with a cover that might feature a more painstaking art technique than the interior art can feasibly be so long as the interior art is still good! Thanks for sharing, Will! You've got me thinking!!

While not a viable option for every book, I've always been a sucker for a fold out cover!
