@Keith Gleason That "Mr. Breakfast" site says it came out in 1973. I'm pretty sure that was before your time. I can't believe I never ate any C-3PO'S. They came out in 1984. I guess I was over Star Wars by then, and I was eating E.T. cereal instead (which came out the same year).

I didn't like French Toast Crunch, but I love Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I keep some of that on hand almost all the time. That reminds me of another great "lost cereal"... Jean LaFoote's Cinnamon Crunch! @Keith Gleason I guess I need to go to the 'Mart sometime soon. I've been avoiding going down cereal aisles in stores recently because I have trouble passing up good deals on cereal ($1 to $1.50 a box), and since I'll try just about anything new, I already have way too many boxes of cereal here I need to eat before buying any more.

@Keith Gleason I haven't seen it in a store in a while (but I haven't looked for it), so I don't know if it's still available. I think I got that picture from Quaker, so I guess you can still order it online.

Quaker's bagged version of Quisp is called "Sweet Crunch."

I never really ate Quisp or Quake as a kid, but I did pick up the bagged version of Quisp made by Quaker (I forget what they called it) a couple of times, and I bought some actual branded Quisp in a box when they brought it back here a few years back. I loaded up on it when it went on close-out after it didn't sell well enough, but some ants decided they really liked Quisp (just that cereal, other cereals next to it in the pantry weren't infested) and I had to throw out several boxes. This is my big long gone cereal from childhood: I have no memory of what it tasted like, but I still have my refrigerator magnets. I also remember eating King Vitaman a lot as a kid (when the mascot was a cartoon), but when I tried it later in life (with the human mascot), it wasn't very good. Now I buy and eat just about any sugary cereal (I'm a sucker for almost anything with a comic book or movie tie-in box, but only if I can get it cheap. Luckily sales + coupons, and overstock at Big Lots or Ollie's, keep me well supplied).

I've had this happen once when I clicked on a notification (using the desktop version). The other notifications worked as you would expect when clicked (took me to the new post and everything looked fine). My "problem" is that notifications remain after clicking them. They're showing on the store part of the page (at the top), but not in the forum below. Edit: I just clicked the problem notification from earlier today and it worked fine now. Maybe it's fixed.

Out of what I've read so far, Tinsel Town is my favorite, but that could change after I get all the reprints from the Indiegogo campaign and read the ones I don't already have.

I had been reading comics since the early '70s (except for a year or two off during High School when I thought I had "outgrown" them) until a few years ago, when high prices and the big comic companies acting like they didn't want me as a customer anymore led me to drop them completely. I saw Pete a couple times on YouTube (a guy who I felt thought like me; that comics should be affordable and fun to read, and not just over-priced "collectibles"). That discount code was too good to pass up, so I ordered a bundle online to check things out, then ordered some more.
