it's very easy to fall into the nostalgia trap and become distracted.

That's a shame I've used mycomicshop to order back issues many times to fill holes in my collection. Sometimes you can't convince people what's in there best interest no matter how many times you try to help them out.

Maybe variant covers or trading cards.

Your not the only one who Is done with modern comics from the big 2. I am a huge spider-man and superman fan but with the way the comic book industry is now I could care less for the stories being told and who they are being told by. As far as I'm concerned every important story has already been told and I'm happy to pick a certain point in time for my favorite heroes and have there stories end there for me. The difference with getting new Alterna books is I know when I open a book I'm going to be getting a fun story that was created to actually entertain the reader not spout some personal political opinions most people dont even care about. Alterna is what a comic book publisher should be something the big 2 have forgotten and will most likely never return to. Also donny cates' name being on the book would have been reason enough for me to skip buying it...just saying.

Awesome can't wait.

I've had to wait almost an extra month for a few things I've had shipped through the usps. The wait times are brutal with the way things are now. Its completely understandable. Good books come to those who wait.

This may have been answered before but is there any plans for a newsprint version on Alterna in the future?

It'll be interesting to to see what makes it into future ICOOAW issues. Its one of my favorite series to collect.

This isnt a dig at printer delays just general excitement for getting new books.
