I was starting to get back into comics and was also looking to hop on that bucket list item of becoming a comic book creator, but wanted to see what the indie scene was like since the last time I was into it back in the late 90's. I had seen a lot of books had the nicer paper stock and the colors were all flashy and that, but the last time I really read a book like that was when Marvel started moving the New Universe titles to that stuff. And the New Universe stuff was GOOD till Jim Shooter left (Change My Mind!). So I did a google search for newsprint comics and whamo! There was Alterna. I started looking over the offerings and started to follow on social media. I dived right in. Been "Pete's Place" ever since...

This is like asking, "Which child, is your favorite." I can't think of a title I didn't like. Some were not really what I am into, but they have all been really good books. But Tinsel Town, and Feast or Famine has been the two that really resonated with me. But Gods and Gears, Midnight Mystery, Exxilium... all excellent!

Woo Hoo! More people to bring life to this new house of ideas!!

All I can say is, Thank You. We have a real home now, where we can all come together and drink Dunkin' while reading some damn fine comic books.
