In CROWDFUNDING CORNER
Hello! While comics are my main passion, I decided to start drawing picture books. My style is humorous so it appeals to children AND it communicates quickly on the page (I learned this from Mort Gerberg's Cartooning book) so that made me want to try picture books. Anyway, my first picture book Hilda & Richie is on Kickstarter. Hilda (the female on the left with the pearls and red dress) and Richie (the fox pup on the right) are two cartoon foxes who live in the European monarchy of Foxland. Hilda is a very wealthy lady and of old money; she is Scrooge McDuck rich! Living with her in her mansion is her ward, an 8-year-old fox pup named Richard or better known as "Richie". In their first book, Hilda is a proper lady with millions of dollars and a wardrobe of fancy dresses; yet she has an interesting quirk - she loves blowing bubble gum! Richie sees her blowing bubbles and wants to join in on the fun. Things soon get messy and both foxes have to get themselves out of the mess! The book will have an ISBN as well as a Library of Congress Control Number. Besides getting it into bookstores and libraries, I want to see about having Peter carry a few copies through Alterna Distribution. Anyway the Kickstarter is in its final week and we are ONLY $100 AWAY FROM OUR $3000 GOAL! If anyone here is willing to back & share, I'd appreciate it! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/504828384/hilda-and-richie-a-messy-and-funny-fox-book
