The area around Trondheim and the river Wynn thaws on the summer, allowing ships to sail up to the city and even go beyond a little more to get nearer to Winterthrone. The rest of the time dog sleds and skates are used for travel and transport goods (mostly food) between the cities, except on winter where travel is leaved to the daring, the desperate or the ice dwelling creatures. Beyond Winterthrone lies only the Ice desert and the Desolate lands from which no creature its said to have ever returned."

Since I decided to start my players on the Isle of Meridian, I give the 4 isles each a name (I don't know if Robert has an actual name for each of them) "Islas Meridias"(Meridian isles) the big one is "Meridia" or "Gran Meridia" (Great Meridia) the other are "Marla", "Merla" and "Mirlan" I also gave my players a small profile for them... " The Meridian isles: Meridian or Great Meridia and her three little islands or "little Meridians" (Merla, Marla and Mirlan) Are, in spite of their relative sizes, among the most prosperous and rich places in the world. Although they are relatively northern in the world, rich warm southern currents surround them and give them a relative template climate and provide them with nutrients that allow for the inhabitants to grow food in excess. That has permitted for the Isles to export the food to other places and its the main source of its income. " As you can see I also provided the placement for some big cities within the Isles: Meridia has "Meridia" which serves as capital for the Islands, "Arisia" is a middle city at the base of a Big extinct volcano and "Puerto Norte" (Northport" which is the hub of ships that dare sail to the Amber Province and deliver the food that the northern land lacks. The other 3 isles each has one mayor city and port. They tend to use either Puerto Norte of Meridia as the base to export their goods and get their imports rather than go sail their own ships to the other lands.

First of course its the world, in this case the only change comes from me translating the names to Spanish, i try to remain as close as posible to the names in English and in some cases went not for a literal translation but a word that retains the sound like Hollow Fortress became "Isla Fortaleza" (Fortress Island) and the Hollow Fortress itself retains the more correct "Fortaleza del Vacio".

Not that modern, but i like the FF of the 70s better than the 60s ones. Another is the Sandman, the original character was this gas toting vigilante, Gaiman tranformed that into one of a family of mystical beings more powerful in some ways than gods and created a rich mythology that crosses over classical mythos and even the DC continuity. Other that comes to mind is the 90s Ostrander/mandrake run of the Specter. While earlier runs were very good, the story arc that Ostrander conceived for his run about the Corrigan/Spectre relation is a beauty to read and see and has a very clear finish. Its shameful how modern day Spectre has become the punching bay of the week when they need to ascertain the power levels of todays heroes, The Specter is the embodiment of Gods Wrath for Pete's sake (not you Peter Eng, or Simeti, or maybe lol)!

Hi Peter, I've played TCG since 94 So, yes Magic, but also a lot of games now forgotten. Highlander was kinda silly but at least the images were good, I think I still have one or two promo cards of that game via InQuest. Doomtown is a great card game with cool mechanics, feels really good when you had those shootouts and a posse of silver and copper bullets to draw from, (no cheating decks please), I still have 3 or 4 decks stored somewhere in my house. Also have a very bad pokemon deck from the time Wizards did the first english release. (No Foil Charizards sadly Blastbeat). Others of mention along the years: Legend of the five Rings, that is a very underrated game an one of the best all time, it had a great lore in a fantasy inspired, medieval Japan-China. nice graphic design (which btw became progressively worse as time and editions pass). Crane and Lion clans rule Overpower, a very silly but superfun and simple game with Marvel characters. Mechwarrior, designed by Richard Garfield himself. Vampire The Eternal Struggle (VTES) originally known as Jyhad. Best multiplayer TCG to this day. Guardians, amazing art, good gameplay, sadly lost in a glut of other games. Hyborian Gates, not a good game but It was all art by Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell, so at the worst it had great images. Groo the game, That one is also very fun. Netrunner, another one originally designed by Garfield, great to play, good art, and since then evolved into a deckbuilder game (you can buy a box that lets you build many decks to play each time and has chips, tokens etc. ) Im shutting myself up since I don't want to bore everyone.
