As promised here's the new uploaded SHOGUN WARRIORS sketch card booklet here :
Hey Forum wassup. I just wanted to share one of my latest projects which has been with me for a few years. The story is that I use to do card art for a couple of big card companies (Upper Deck, Rittenhouse Archives, Breygent Marketing & 5Finity Productions to name a few.) Anyway, I garnered some fans of my work and was contacted by one who proposed that HE would make me 2 custom sketch card booklets for an art commission for him. It was a fair trade and I decided upon a Godzilla 2014 & Shogun Warriors cards. I've done the Godzilla, which is available to see here
The GODZILLAS are GATHERING and this series of art pieces I've been doing since last year is continuing on a journey that I have no idea will end.I'd like to THANK the folks who've subscribed to my channel and gotten it up to 257. Hey Frankie! Did you see the Trailer for the Kong and Godzilla movie? Who is your favourite and why Frankogor would kick their respective mounstruos behinds? Mines logical option would be Godzilla, but the kid in me loves Kong, I love, love, love the art for the 70s movie posters. Back then one local artist decided to reproduce the image on a wall as a way to announce his business on painting for ads and such and every time my mother took me to his sister's house we came by the painting, it was the higher point of those trips for me. (It stood there from the opening day of the movie until the late 80s) To this day I still have a very ugly and very unofficial Kong doll from that time.
One of my favorite covers. Love the Kaiju artwork.
