Greetings Alterna fans!
I'm Pete Engstrom and like all of you, I ❤ comics! It wasn't always like that though, as for a number of years I felt as if the medium I'd loved since childhood had kicked me out and told me that I was no longer allowed to be a part of it, for.... well, reasons. The Big Two had poked me in the eye and I said to hell with it. They can have em. I was done.
But then along comes Alterna Comics with the attitude that comic books are for EVERYONE, regardless of what you look like, where you're from, who you're friends with, what you think... all of it. Publishin' Pete created a place where the stories are fantastic and the artwork is top-notch, with talented creators that don't care what the readers think or do as long as they're enjoying the comics! How refreshing! Unreal, right?
So, that's it. I've come here like all of you to talk shop about comic books. I look forward to chatting with old friends and making brand new ones. Don't hesitate to say hello! Cheers! 🍻
