Alterna Tales Anthology Submission Guidelines
We are currently accepting 4 more stories for Issue #6 - set for a release in Winter 2008.
Cover artist position has currently been filled, thank you.
When submitting your comic to the Alterna Tales Quarterly Anthology, please consider the following:
*Is your comic under 10 pages long?
*Does your comic fit the theme of the next issue of the Anthology? The theme for issue #6 will be leaning more toward holiday-based dark humor.
*Is it in black and white?
*Does the material seem like something we would publish based on our other titles? Or do you have something so entirely original that you need to submit it to us regardless?
*The Alterna Tales Anthology comes out every Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall - can you make one of those deadlines?
If you've answered 'yes' to all those questions, then please go ahead and submit your comic to us!
We need to see the whole completed and drawn out story - sorry, we can't pair you up with any creators or artists!
You keep 100% of your creative rights AND the ability to publish the story elsewhere too. In other words, Alterna Tales stories are non-exclusive!
All creators involved in the Anthology receive 3 free copies as oppose to monetary compensation - as the print run is generally lower than our other titles, and we will not be submitting the anthology to Diamond. We will however, be posting a downloadable PDF on WOWIO and Drivethrucomics.com.
Alterna Tales is designed to help give creators exposure and the ability to have their stories published non-exclusively.
